The Jungian Analysts of Washington Association
The Jungian Analysts of Washington Association practices in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia, providing Jungian analysis, psychotherapy, counseling, and education to a variety of clientele. Analysts find meaning, purpose, and transformation through dream interpretation, active imagination, bodywork, art therapy, sand tray, and the interactive field of therapy. When the previous logo began to feel dated, JAWA reached out for an update. As a whole, the logo needed to embody Jungian concepts and values while still remaining professional and practical. We took inspiration from the archetypes and symbolism at the root of Jung’s beliefs and applied them throughout the creation and development process. Separately, each element of the design is a call to Jungian symbolism, but when combined, it becomes the embodiment of a strong team of trusted analysts from a wide variety of backgrounds.
